Drop-In Resource Centre

Our Drop-In Resource Centre is a welcoming, low-barrier space for women and gender-diverse folks to rest, connect, and access essential supports. Whether you need a safe place to warm up, a snack, or someone to talk to, our doors are open.

We offer a space to meet basic needs and build community—where people can access resources, gather information, and make informed choices about their lives with dignity and support.

At the drop-in, you can:

  • Warm up or cool down in a safe, comfortable environment

  • Use a phone, washroom, or relax and watch TV

  • Get help with printing, copying, faxing, and filling out forms

  • Enjoy snacks, coffee, and tea

  • Access menstrual products, seasonal clothing, and essential supplies

  • Learn about NEWC programs, groups, and workshops

  • Pick up harm reduction supplies, including safer sex materials, needle exchange, and naloxone kits (when available)

Our knowledgeable staff are here to listen and support. We can help connect you with programs and services both at NEWC and across the community, including referrals to other organizations and government resources that meet your needs.
